Codix Bio to Produce HIV & Malaria Kits After US Cuts
Codix Bio, in partnership with South Korea’s SD Biosensor, will locally manufacture millions of HIV and malaria rapid‑test kits in Lagos following a $740 M USAID cut.
With WHO backing, its facility—capable of producing 147 M kits annually—aims to meet Nigerian demand and expand into West Africa.
Nigeria has one of the highest malaria and HIV burdens in the world.
