Ekiti Tricycle and Okada Riders Endorse Governor Oyebanji for Second Term
Members of the Ekiti State Association of Tricycles and Okada Riders have publicly endorsed Governor Biodun Oyebanji for a second term ahead of the 2026 elections. This endorsement comes as part of a growing wave of support from Ekiti residents, who cite the governor's visible developmental achievements in the state as the primary reason for their backing.
The association's chairman, speaking during a large roadshow, commended Governor Oyebanji's commitment to the welfare of the state's residents. He emphasized that the governor's performance since taking office has been widely appreciated, stating, "He has been doing well since his inception as governor of Ekiti State, and everybody has been enjoying him for the good work he has been doing."
The chairman further highlighted the governor's positive impact on the union and the broader community, noting, "Mr. Governor has been doing well for the union, even all the people in Ekiti State, everybody has been enjoying him for the good work he has been doing." He explained that this widespread satisfaction led the tricycle and motorcycle riders to collectively endorse the governor on June 18th.
"You can see every angle, everywhere they're endorsing him every day because of his performances, because he's doing well and he's attending to so many issues that are affecting individuals or groups of people in Ekiti State," the chairman added, underscoring the consistent support Oyebanji has garnered due to his effective governance.
