He stated that this has led to 16 serious road accidents in August alone, causing injuries and property damage. The command also highlighted the "flagrant disobedience" to traffic lights and other road regulations as a primary cause of traffic jams and avoidable crashes in the Kano metropolis.
The Warning: The police have declared the riding of tricycles by minors to be illegal and a significant danger to road users. They are urging parents and guardians to prevent their underage children from operating tricycles, as violators will face "severe penalties."
