Kogi State: In the Okura State Constituency by-election within the Dekina Local Government Area, the APC's Hon. Hassan Yakubu Musa was victorious. According to official results, he secured a commanding lead with 55,073 votes, defeating his closest rival from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 1,038 votes. Kaduna State: The APC also celebrated victories in Kaduna, winning a House of Representatives by-election and two state assembly seats. However, another report from a different source stated that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) claimed victory in two of the three seats contested in Kaduna. While the APC's wins have been confirmed in some constituencies, these conflicting reports highlight the dynamic and at times contested nature of political results in the country.
These legislative wins have come amidst ongoing political challenges for the party, including the recent call by the APC's national publicity secretary, Felix Morka, for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to cancel a by-election in Kano State due to allegations of widespread violence.
