Senate President Akpabio pledges National Assembly intervention in Rivers State fallout.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio announced on June 26 that the Senate would step in to resolve the political impasse in Rivers State.
His assurance came amidst mounting tensions between suspended Governor Fubara and House Speaker Amaewhule. While stakeholders met in Abuja, Akpabio said a legislative solution is forthcoming.
