Outrage in Court: "They Don't Know the Law!"
Accusing the Nigerian judiciary of gross incompetence and a blatant disregard for established legal principles, an agitated man, reportedly well-educated, lashed out in court today.
According to Nnamdi Kanu said "An old man like this doesn't know the law? You don't know the law?" he exclaimed, his voice rising in frustration. "Why is it that when it comes to my case, they turn the law upside down? People who are not educated... I am an educated man!"
He continued, asserting that the court and prosecution displayed "poor knowledge of the law," a failing he claims is "killing Nigeria." He specifically cited a "federal gazetted law of Nigeria that says here that the Chief Judge of Nigeria cannot tell [someone] what to do."
The man, who repeatedly declared his right to agitate for Biafra, decried the legal system's alleged manipulation of his case, stating, "They turned it from reasonable felony now to terrorism!"
