Marketplaces from Onitsha to Kano are abuzz with debate, as citizens discuss whether a united opposition could reshape Nigeria’s future. Early polling and public engagement point to increasing optimism amid widespread frustration with rising living costs, insecurity, and perceived political entrenchment.
Structural unity will be key to ADC’s viability. The coalition is working on integrating regional interests, setting up transparent nomination processes, and fundraising mechanisms—all aimed at showcasing competence and readiness.
But hurdles remain. The APC maintains firm control over grassroots networks and state structures, while internal disagreements could fracture the coalition. As ADC mobilises support, analysts emphasise the importance of coherent messaging and resilient organisation.
