Father Poisoned His Three Sons After Visiting a Pastor Who Claims The Three Sons Are Wizards
Yenagoa, Nigeria - A 42-year-old man in Bayelsa State, Nigeria, allegedly poisoned his three sons, aged 10, 12, and 14, after a pastor reportedly told him they were "wizards" bewitched by their mother. The incident, which occurred recently, has sparked outrage and concern over the influence of certain prophetic pronouncements.
According to reports, the father, who had divorced his wife, took his children into a bush, tied them up, and forced them to drink an insecticide known as "Sniper." Tragically, two of the boys, aged 10 and 12, succumbed to the poison. The eldest son, aged 14, miraculously survived after crawling out of the bush to seek help. He was later found with swollen hands and legs, bearing marks consistent with being tied.
The surviving son, currently recovering in the hospital, recounted the horrifying ordeal, stating that his father told them they were going to church before detouring into the bush where the incident occurred.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the matter. This incident highlights ongoing discussions about the need for greater scrutiny of religious leaders and the potential dangers of unsubstantiated prophecies that lead to extreme actions.
