Nnamdi Kanu, to commence his defence in the seven-count terrorism charge against him
The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB Nnamdi kanu has so far refused to open his defence for the fourth consecutive hearing claiming that there is no valid charge, known to any law in the country pending against him.
The leader who is representing himself has submitted a no-case proposal on September which was dismissed by the court, the court ruled that kanu has a case to answer and must enter his defense.
Today mark the exact date set by the court to either open his defence or be deemed to have waived the right to do so, because if he agree to open his defence the trial will proceed with Kanu calling his witnesses while if he refuses he will be considered to have waived his constitutional right to defend the charges.
