China Warns Against US Interference in Nigeria

A strong and public diplomatic statement in support of Nigeria's sovereignty was issued by china which is directly addressing the the recent threats made by President Donald Trump, regarding military intervention over alleged persecution of Christians.

The Statement was made issued by the  Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China Mao Ning, during press briefing in Beijing on yesterday 4 November,

China stated that it firmly opposes any intervention of  any country in using religion or human rights as a pretext to interfere in another nation's internal affairs.

 

The spokesperson also warned against the united States threats to deploy US military forces guns-a-blazing in Nigeria, and with threatening other countries with sanctions and force.

The spokesperson also declared china's unwavering support for the Nigerian government, describing Nigeria as a comprehensive strategic partner to Beijing, noting it supports to the government of President Tinubu in leading its people to a development path suited to its national conditions, supporting for non-interference in Nigeria's domestic matters.

These statement by the Chinese government is seen as a big support to the Tinubu's government And a clear message to the Western powers that usually threaten with military intervention.
