Two airport workers at Hong Kong international airport plunges into sea by a cargo aircraft
A cargo plane was met with a tragic crash to at the Hong Kong international airport around 3:50 a.m. local time approximately.
The crash Aircraft was a Boeing 747-400 freighter from Emirates SkyCargo Flight EK9788 the aircraft took off from Al Maktoum International Airport Dubai.
At the time of the accident the aircraft was not carrying any cargo at the time and was operated by Turkish carrier ACT Airlines for the Emirates as of the condition of the plane it is reported to be around 32years.
The scenario of the accident was that the aircraft was suppose to land on the north run way but it abruptly landed on the left halfway down the runway, resulting to crash through the perimeter fence hitting a vehicle that is park outside the fence with both falling inside the sea near the runway.
A 41-year-old man and a 30-year-old man are the two airport ground staff inside the security patrol vehicle outside the fence that the aircraft collide with which results to their death.
Four crew members that are inside the crash cargo plane survived and were rescued safely through the emergency slide, the cause of the accident was still underway as immediate investigation by The Air Accident Investigation Authority (AAIA) declared it accident.
