The Nigeria's police force NPF dismiss claims to stop the free Nnamdi kanu protest 




A statement was issued by the Nigeria police force clarifying on the rumour that the npf is planning to stop the planned protest for the release of Nnamdi Kanu who is the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB.


The organizers and participants main purpose is to urge the federal government of Nigeria to free their leader who they demand to be let free, their slogan for the protest is #FreeNnamdiKanu.


The NPF clarified it stances on the planned protest through it spokesperson denying that the police had ever approached the court to file a motion without notifying the other party that will be Protesting against the protesters he also state that the NPF has no plan to display the demonstrations.


They also noted that as citizens of Nigeria their is a right for every citizen to protest as it is integral part of democracy, as long as it goes with the public order and abides with the rules and law.


A warning was issued by the police to the participants and organizers of the protest that the presidential villa in aso rock is a no go area and places with high security or  restricted by law.
