LDP's Takaichi and JIP Co-leader Hirofumi Yoshimura signed a coalition deal
In a major historic political development of Japanese a coalition agreement is set to clear the way for the sanae takaici to become Japan's first female prime minister.
The 64 year old sanae of the Liberal Democratic Party LDP is to replace the outgoing prime minister shigeru ishiba who has to resign due to electoral setback.
She was elected as the president of the LDP earlier this month winning the Japanese parliament election which gives her the opportunity to be the next prime minister as per Japan's parliamentary system
Sanae is widely accepted and recognized in Japan's politics for her policies that are in favour to the mass population of Japanese these policies include; cuts to tax and higher spending to boost the economy, support to revise Japan's pacifist constitution, strong focus on national security, opposition to same-sex marriage and reigning female empresses.
The major setbacks that takaici is likely to face is the opposition from the centrist komeito party which may lead to the collapse of the decades rule of the LDP.
To ensure that takaici secure the position of prime minister with enough votes at the lower house of the parliament their have been a coalition between the the Japan Innovation Party JIP known as Nippon Ishin no Kai, the deal was sign today 20th of October.
