Lisbon news: Crash in Lisbon Portugal that killed 16 life and injury dozens
The fatal Portugal Lisbon accident where iconic people crashed according the 16 people died and 20 person injured inside an railway at yesterday when car on yellow and white, 140 years old Gloria funicular, Eyewitness said the vehicle which that carries 40 people careened out of control and when it reach the corner, it crashed into the building and another witness said, noting appear to be wrong with the cable but the funicular lacked braking ability.
Meanwhile the wreckage of the car was found lying on it side, it's metal frame crushed as smoke filled the air, inside the incident the Emergency group where able to rescue the victim that was trap inside, after the rescue the emergency responder confirmed that 16 adult person died, seven men and eight women, thought the official have not yet confirmed the cause of the crash, it was the eyewitness blaming the driver braking system failure, the funicular manufacturer has opened it's own investigation.
Because of the accident that makes the national mourning trigger some residents saying "I will never travel with funicular again." The ministry also said this has never happened in our recent history, as investigations continue the future of the historic funicular remains uncertain in Lisbon
