FIFA has officially opened an investigation into the South African Football Association (SAFA)
As of result been released by the investigation report indicate that mokoena is not suppose to be in the match but should have been serving a one match suspension after getting two yellow cards in previous qualifiers.
This case is not a minor case as is been send to the FIFA disciplinary committee both the south Africa football association SAFA and the players involved are given until September 20, this year to respond to the allegations.
South Africa is currently at the top of Group C of the World Cup qualifiers any interruption in the group will significantly impact the progress of the game, a three-point deduction would bring them the same level with Benin republic.
