Amir Khan Eyes Anthony Joshua Fight in Lagos After Announcing October Fight Event.

British boxing star turned promoter Amir Khan has announced a boxing event in Lagos set for October 1, and he’s eyeing a shot at bringing heavyweight legend Anthony Joshua back to the ring right in Nigeria.

The October fight card includes retired boxer Rocky Fielding, who’s making a return, and Nigerian-born Dan Azeez. Khan believes Nigeria would be a fitting venue for Joshua whose roots are deeply linked to the nation and is open to working with promoters to make it happen.
