At its July 9 Unpacked event in NYC, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Watch 8, all now deeply integrated with Google Gemini AI. The Fold 7 features an 8‑inch inner screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite, 200 MP camera, and is the thinnest ever in its class .
The Z Flip 7 sports a larger 6.9‑inch main display, a 4‑inch external cover screen, a 4,300 mAh battery, and thanks to Gemini AI, offers smart suggestions—from outfits to meal ideas—based on user photos .
Samsung also expanded its wearable line: the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic/Ultra include fitness tracking with vascular load analysis, sleep coaching, and antioxidant monitoring—supported by AI-driven guidance .
Pre-orders are now open, with official releases scheduled for July 25. Samsung positions these devices as the next wave in AI-first consumer tech, competing in the foldable and smartwatch markets by marrying hardware innovation with on-device intelligence.
