Kansas City wraps AFC West with explosive offense led by Mahomes
The Kansas City Chiefs have officially clinched the AFC West with a 15–2 record, thanks to a balanced blend of explosive offense and opportunistic defense.
Led by MVP-level quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs have one of the highest-scoring offenses, averaging over 32 points per game.
Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce continue to terrorize defenses, while rookie running back Isiah Pacheco adds chip-yardage and red-zone punch. Kansas City's defense, though overshadowed by the offense, stepped up at crucial moments with elite pass rushers like George Karlaftis and Chris Jones.
This marks the Chiefs’ sixth straight AFC West title and sets them up for another deep playoff run. Analysts believe they are now comfortably positioned for a first-round bye and home playoff games—key factors in their pursuit of a third Super Bowl title in five seasons.
