Ibe urged Tinubu to address Nigeria’s ongoing economic challenges rather than “poke-nosing” into opposition politics. He called on the president to prioritise meaningful economic reforms that can revive public confidence (§) in leadership.
Ibe’s remarks came amid soaring inflation, rising cost of living, and criticism of government policy initiatives. He argued that political interference in opposition matters distracts from urgent national priorities, especially amid widespread economic hardship.
