Then go further to let your son or your daughter associate with her? Would you genuinely?
Would you associate with this girl in public and welcome her in public as part of you?
And let's say for instance your son fall in love with her unknowingly then you later find out in the middle before marriage that the girl has Run the streets of Sexing and she has given her life to Christ will you allow your son to marry her?
And Pastor Abel Damina responded The Bible tells us in the book of Ephesians chapter 2 that you had he quickened who were dead in sins and trespasses. So a man without Christ is dead in sins and trespasses. But the Bible tells us that God who is rich in mercy for his great love wherewith he loved us even when we were dead in sins and trespasses had quickened us together, raised us up together, made us sit together with Christ in the heavenly places. You must remember in Christianity or in the Christian faith, man does not give God life.
It is God who gives man life. John 10:10, the thief cometh not but for to steal, to kill, and to destroy. But I am come that you might have life and be abundant. So salvation is faith in Christ. Once a man believes the gospel of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, that man receives the life of God. It is called eternal life or it is called everlasting life.
The Bible tells us in Romans 5:8, "But God commended his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." In Isaiah 1:18, the prophet Isaiah said, "Though your sins be as red as scarlet, it shall be as white as snow. Though they be as red as crimson, they shall be as wool."
It doesn't matter what the past was. It doesn't matter what you did. Your past is irrelevant. Whatever you did, whatever you've done, it does not hold water where God is concerned. Because the Bible tells us in Romans 4:25 that Jesus was delivered for our offenses and was raised again for our justification.
The Bible also tells us very clearly in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "If any man be in Christ," that's the key there, in Christ. He's a new creature. Old things are passed away. Behold, look, look again. The man that has received the life of Jesus.
All things are new and all things are of God. And I love the verse 19. He says, "To that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them." God is not holding the sinner accountable for sin.
Because Jesus is the lamb of God that has taken away the sins of the world. So the sins of the world has been put on Jesus and Jesus has been held accountable for sin. The wages of sin is death.
So Jesus died to free man from sin and its consequences. So the moment you believe the gospel, you receive the life of God. All your sins are eternally forgiven.
All your errors are eradicated before God. You stand as sinless as sinless can be before God. Your sins are all gone. You stand justified in the court of divine justice. You are discharged and acquitted without prejudice.
The man in Christ is a new breed, a new race, a new kind of humanity that never existed before. Let me give you a classical scriptural example. The man, Brother Paul, Paul the Apostle, who was Saul of Thus. He went everywhere killing Christians, killing and wasting their lives, killing all over the place.
One day on the way to Damascus, the light shone. He fell on the ground and he said, "Who are you, Lord?" And Jesus said, "I am Jesus whom you persecute." He said, "What will you have me do for you, Lord?" Long story cut short, he received the gospel. He received the life of God. He got born again. And after he got born again, one day he came back to the church in Corinth, the church where people have been hurt and wounded by him. He came to that church and he said to them, "Receive us." I'm sure they were looking at him funny. They were looking at him remembering maybe some of the records of his past. He said to them, "Guys, you receive us. We have wronged no man. We have defrauded no man. We have corrupted no man. Receive us.
A woman was caught in the very act of adultery the other day. They brought her to Jesus in the act of adultery. So possibly they brought her naked. And the man said the law of Moses says stoned her. Jesus what do you say? Jesus said any of you that is without sin cast the first stone. All of them left one by one. And he said woman where thine accusers has no man condemned thee? She said no Lord. He said, "Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more." Then he showed her how to sin no more.
I am the light of the world. He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. No man can free himself from sin. That's why what Jesus did has become the cure to man's sins. You believe the gospel, your sins are totally forgiven you. Your past is gone.
Then the next thing is spiritual growth where you settle down and we disciple you. We begin to teach you the word of God. We begin to establish you in the gospel. Jesus said, "I'm not come to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved."
Romans 8:1 and2, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death." Your sins are forgiven you. But the moment you believe and receive it, it is applied. you begin to walk in the consciousness and in the reality of that forgiveness.
So for Ajibola Elizabeth, once you believe the gospel, it doesn't matter what the past was. And for anybody else who may be Reading this right now, it doesn't matter what you've done.
That's why Jesus died. He didn't die for himself. He died for us. Isaiah puts it like this. He was wounded for our transgression. Bruce, for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him.
By his stripes, we are healed. Jesus took your place so you can take his place. Once you believe that, a miracle happens in your heart. A miracle that affects your entire being happens in your heart and a new course is charted for your life.
