Justice Kangui Hemer of the FCT High Court has sentenced Mr. Tango, the husband of gospel singer Osachi Panguku, to death by hanging. He was found guilty of culpable homicide in connection with the death of his wife, which occurred on April 8, 2022. Tango was arraigned in June 2022 on 23 counts, including culpable homicide, criminal intimidation, and spousal battery. Along with the death sentence, he received additional sentences of six months and three years imprisonment for other charges, as well as fines totaling 700,000 naira.
